October 2008

CMS has awarded BDS with the Risk Adjusted Data Validation contract through the Center for Drug and Health Plan Choice (CPC). In this capacity, BDS will act as a Medical Record Review Contractor. To support this contract BDS will be hiring Coding Specialists, Case Screeners, Project Coordinators and Programming support.

September 2008

The BDS family day this year was held at a ball game with the York Revolution! Unfortunately mother nature did not participate and the scheduled game was rained out. We hope all employees who attended one of the make up games enjoyed the day. Better luck next year!

May 26, 2008 - Memorial Day: BDS wishes the best to all employees, their family members, and especially the men and women of our armed services for their past, present and future service to our military operations.

April 2008

April 1, 2008 - Effective today Shawn Reardon has assumed the position of Program Manager of Buccaneer Data Services. Mr. Reardon brings 13 years of CDAC experience to the position. Most recently he has served as the BDS Business Manager handling all contracts and financial program control initiatives. We welcome and congratulate Mr. Reardon on his promotion.

March 2008

March 15, 2008 - Effective March 31, 2008 Tom Weaver, CDAC Program Manager will be retiring. Mr. Weaver started his career with the CDAC contract in 1996 as the Operations Director. He was promoted to the position of CDAC Program Manger in 1998 and has retained this position ever since.

From all the employees and friends of BDS, we wish Mr. Weaver well in all his future endevours and hope he enjoys his retirement.

January 12, 2008 - Thanks to all employees who attended the 2nd Annual BDS Holiday party at the Holiday Inn. A special thanks to the activities committee for putting together such and great event!
