Our History

In March 2006, Buccaneer Data Services, LLC (BDS), was formed to capture the CMS Clinical Data Abstraction (CDAC) contract. Partners include Buccaneer Computer Systems & Service, Information Collection Enterprises, eDaptive Systems, and Maricom Systems. On September 1, 2006 Buccaneer Data Services announced they had been awarded the CDAC contract.

The partners listed above immediately began work to renovate a store front location into the new clinical data abstraction center. We relocated operations to this facility on December 4, 2006. Since this time BDS has worked to build a new culture of respect and appreciation for all employees and customers.
